Carl Wallbank reports via Facebook:-
Europeans Day 1, a big 134km task, very stable for the most part, and a long list of errors by me ending in a not so good result but i did get to goal crossing the line only just with about five others making it very interesting, Four Brits in goal Gordon/Grant/Me and Kathleen, Dave Mathews just a field short, Bruce and Shedsy have just got there bad days out of the way today.

Euro's Day 2, another hard 91km, i decide to go on the last clock, but just about everyone goes on second, i feel i can catch them in fantasy, but in reality i didn't catch enough, scores will be interesting, on a bonus all seven Brits in goal, so a nice ego boost for us all. For me, i'm made more mistakes in the last …two days than i've made all year, maybe i need a rest…

To windy : task cancelled.
Carl gets his wish and has a day off.
Tean uK sitting in second place.
Gordon sits third overall.
Note.. results are still provisional.

Carl Wallbank Euro's Day task 3, 112km going around the valleys and ending up out in the flats towards Barcelona, very tricky bit in the middle which we knew at the start would make or break your day, i got right for once and stayed with the lead pack till the end, pushing a little at the end and come in 4th over the line only seconds behind the winner, and am very pleased with my result, bring it on for tomorrow…
Just found out that the scorers have a blog as well. here
It seems they have been experiencing some difficulties.
It has been noted that the bloggers have not been bloging about the right stuff. They all seem to of omitted vital info.
OZ report carried a letter of complaint, and now everyone seems to ensure that his name is noted, and more pics are being posted of Gerolf Heinrichs. Good grief, any one would think he has won two out of three tasks

Carl Wallbank What can i say apart from i'm totally fu$$ed…200km day going deep into the Pyrenees and up the stunning Serria Ferria ridge, mind blowing scenery, and climbs i can only descibe as capable of ripping your wings off, It was always going to be a fast day, and the best would do well…and they did. Sadly i …was not part off the best today, but very happy to make goal in a staggering 3-1/2 hrs.

Carl Wallbank YIPPIE 3rd for the day, Euro'stask 5, 134km task ending up out in the flats to the south, lowish cloudbase made it busy during the first part, Had some excitment with Dave Mathews digging ourselves out of a hell hole, we where sceaming for joy when we where safely out. The last part of the task was a thinkings mans day… and the Brits pulled it of with 3 in the top 11.

Carl Wallbank C'mon, you British supporters, Get behind your team, The Boy's and girl are doing good, Team is back in Bronze today and knocking on the door of Silver and Gold…

Gordon sits 17 th after a bad day yesterday.
Dave Matthews is 22nd

whilst the latest files that i have indicate that Team uk is running in bronze position, the latest blog from the scorers has team uk running 5th.
They are heading up the hill. Although conditions are going to be weaker and the forcast less than promising, a task should be possible.
edit Ah! NOW I SEE WHY..The picture of the scores they have used is the wrong one!… :-)
Not such a big task today. But enough to change the scores around a bit. The Brits have dropped to forth :-(. Bring on tomorrow, lets hope they can recover.
