I like both - the existing current page is best as the main start page for new and infrequent visitors.
The blog format is good for frequent visitors who are only interested in new information. If this had its own RSS feed it would be ideal.

Main disadvantage to this way, is it takes a little while to edit it, as there is so much on one page.
Also, as the items add up, the page becomes longer and longer.

When it comes to editing , this by far the easiest way.
Type a name in the box, it automatically creates the page. Ad info. Job done.
BUT.. Cant do RSS on the "listing page"

This way uses the forum as the main input system.
Care has to be taken on the title of the tread, and the thread introduction box
Because it uses the forum, you cannot download pics directly. You must download the pics to a holding page pics-holding-page
Then you must link to that pic, or use the pic url
The layout is not as nice as in V2. but you CAN have RSS feeds.

I reckon the little calendar of HG comps would be better on the front page than hidden in the 2009->2009-Comps menu, since this is my primary use of the site - to find out info about future BHGC events.
