Competitions Panel Structure
The BHPA structure for competitions is that the Competitions Committee is chaired by the Competitions Director who is a member of the association's executive board. Other members are representatives (usually the chairman and treasurer) from the Accuracy, Hang Gliding, and Paragliding competition panels.
These panels are responsible for organising national championships in their discipline, selecting national teams and overseeing all other competitions.
The BHPA Competitions Director is currently Bill Bell and the Hang Gliding Competitions Panel is:

768. TERMS OF REFERENCE
It was felt that due to the large change in people on the competition panel we needed to identify all roles required for running the BOS and Nationals and then write down what each role encompasses. This will ensure panel members and volunteers are clear about what activities they are expected to do and will reduce the risk of tasks not being completed.
